How can you make your competitors jealous?

DO YOU SEE RED?

Had a customer shopping with us today. He knew what he wanted so he just stood at the counter and gave us his list. After we got it all for him, he shared a nice revelation that floored me.

He works for another store that is considered our competition. He didn’t have to tell me this. But he did. And for whatever reason I didn’t care why. YEAH RIGHT! I was very curious.

So I asked why. He says our products are better. And he likes dealing with our staff.

I wonder if he’ll get fired if his bosses find out he works for them and buys from us?

A little jealousy should be good for competition, right?

Jealous – feeling resentment because of another’s success.

So if it pushes them to make a positive change, it’s all good.

But I doubt they will do anything about it. And we’ll continue to reap the benefits of their inaction.

Speaking of which, will your inaction on a matter lead to success for someone else today?

Day 4 – Do your best. The others will have to play catch up if they want to compete.

No rest for the weary. And hard to catch someone way out in front.
