Offer better service

Service that is customer focused

On the way to soccer practice the other night, I passed by a bank that had this sign out front.

“We offer service to meet your goals, not ours.”

IF that is a true statement, then they would be the most popular bank around, right?

I contend that we are not getting the full meaning of their statement.

If their goals focus on 100% customer satisfaction, then they will be meeting their own goals at the same time they are concentrating on their customers.

In simple English, offer better service than your competitor. It’s how you can distinguish yourself in a sea of choices.

david, it is so nice to wake up early, click on your site and read the latest. You may want to add the email subscribe widget.

PS. Love today’s message. They should be the busiest and biggest bank in town…

  2. David says:

Thank you, Jeff. What is the name of the widget you use?

You are correct. They SHOULD be the biggest and busiest. But they are not. They are on the FDIC’s watch list of troubled banks.

  3. Donna Flanagin says:

We all know, it is not what you say but what you do that matters. Did an advertising agency decide this would be catchy? Who knows. Time will tell.

  4. Patty Hebert says:

Like in all of life’s relationships:Actions speak louder than words.

  5. David says:

Donna, in those instances where the words backup the actions and vice versa, the business or venture will be successful. And yes, time will tell. They have had similar slogans in the past.

What I hear from my customers is that their actions, sadly, do not match with their slogans.

  6. David says:

Patty, we judge ourselves by our intentions. Others judge us by our actions.
