A character experience

Characters in costume are larger than they appear.

It’s no secret. I love Disney. I get more excited about seeing some of the characters than do my kids.

But the kind of character we should display shouldn’t come from a flashy costume. Rather, it should reveal who we are, flaws and all.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. – Helen Keller
