The name game

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet

What’s in a name? Some will say that even if you lose everything, you still have your name.

Well, today is a day that has been in the works for a few months. It’s the day I go from being a cancer sufferer to cancer survivor. A name change, if you will.

By the time most of you read this post, excluding my early risers (jn and ph), I should be through with surgery and well on my way to recovery.

Does your name (spouse, child, friend) mean something? Does it need a change? Let all of us celebrate with you!

does 7.48 ayem count me as an early riser? Regardless – many prayers lifted up for you David – and thrilled for you to be a cancer survivor.
