Take courage, my soul

Andrew Jackson (1767-1845)

Ever gone out on a limb? You know . . . taken a risk?

Depending on where you live, any day you leave your house is a risky initiative.

“A journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step” is a saying that is attributed to Lao-tzu, a Chinese philosopher (604 BC -531 BC). However, it may be more correctly interpreted as “the journey of a thousand miles begins beneath one’s feet.”

Instead of focusing on the first step, take a look at where you stand and go from there.

Take courage in standing for something.

“One man with courage makes a majority.”
Andrew Jackson, 7th President of the United States (1829-1837)

    Balance…you know, on two feet.
Or balance with life’s big choices.
    Awesome post.
    Happy Sunday.

  2. Patty Hebert says:

One man with courage… take that step and change the world.

Exactly! Most of us think we can’t change the world. We are only one. But a few steps added together by everyone can make a huge difference!

  3. The right way to get things done is not to mind who contains the credit for doing them.
One’s mind carries a means of making itself up without anyone’s knowledge, and it suddenly becomes clear what one means to do.
