Honest work

Stephen Grover Cleveland (1837-1908)

Honesty is often addressed in schools, especially when applied to the work students do with respect to plagiarized writings. The ease of collecting data via the internet has made it necessary to establish laws for their proper use.

Academic dishonesty is nothing new. Courses on business ethics need to be taught for a reason. Dishonesty, unethical behavior and backroom deals are a part of society. Doesn’t mean you have to partake.

It’s only your reputation at stake. And the reputation of your brand. Plus the reputation of your business. And don’t forget the reputation of your industry.

Yeah, it’s that big. Just do honest work.

“A truly American sentiment recognizes the dignity of labor and the fact that honor lies in honest toil.”
Grover Cleveland, 24th President of the United States (1893-1897)
