Mission: Possible

Just because you can’t see the finish line doesn’t mean you don’t start the race.

Mission: Impossible was a popular TV show that ran from 1966-1973. It featured an elite covert operations team assigned seemingly impossible tasks that were carried out with the utmost in secrecy. Any agents who were discovered must deny their involvement even if faced with death.

Now you’ve been given a great task. How do you go about fulfilling said task? What do you keep in your bag of tricks so you can accomplish what has been handed to you?

If the task seems daunting, don’t let it discourage you. You can still have a set of goals and work each step until you reach the end.

Will it happen overnight? Probably not. Remember that the Grand Canyon wasn’t formed in a day.

Been waiting all day to hear how it went. Going to bed now.

Tiring day. I had the remainder of the afternoon off following the meeting/presentation. Whole Foods, doctor, Big Peach Running Co. (for new shoes), pharmacy, home. Fell asleep watching a movie with Ben.

Today is a new day. 🙂 Have a great Saturday!

Love the photo by the way. You were in the passenger seat…

Unfortunately, I was not. If we were driving in England, I would have been. 🙁

We were stopped in traffic when I thought of snapping this picture. It had started up by the time I got it done.

    Happy Saturday… 6:58 am…

It went well. You gave me just the direction I needed. I asked what would be different if you attended? It’s more than a day off of work and a couple of free meals. It’s an opportunity to get uncomfortable and see your potential for growth.

I cannot judge the success solely based on the responses. There is a point where you can teach what you know and the rest is up to the student.

One thing I’ve noticed with just about every Cast Member I’ve encountered, they all have a story. That’s how I started my presentation. Could I have said more? You bet. Could I have said it better? Absolutely.

This was a first. There will be more opportunities to come. I know it!!
