A time for lists

Our lists aren't always as sweet.

Our lists aren’t always as sweet.

Happy New Year!

Not trying to put a damper on things but it’s just another day. There’s nothing magical or mystical about the day.

A fresh start can happen anytime you will it into action. Like giving up sweets, or smoking, or other things that can be destructive to your longevity.

It’s taken me about a week to write this post, partly because I’ve gotten away from writing daily. And also due to the fact I’ve been focused on losing yet another friend to cancer.

We don’t get to choose the day we die. You can eat right, exercise, get proper sleep and still have a house fall on you. 🙂

So if you are into making a list of things to change, don’t be bound by the date on the calendar. Make the change. Now. Otherwise, your list of things to change could grow too long to handle before it’s too late.

Very sorry about your friend. Cancer sucks.

It does jeff. But it’s not always a death sentence. Like certain emotions (hate, envy, jealousy) cancer can grow unseen by those on the outside while it destroys the inside. Bringing them all to light can help us deal with them. 🙂
