A favorite question often asked of Disney Cast Members.
Sometimes you have to read between the lines to know what your guest is really seeking.
That comes from knowing your guests, knowing your products and knowing how to answer answer their question.
Otherwise, they’ll ask someone else the question. And if they are prepared with a better answer, they’ll go watch the parade somewhere else.

Yes and, Ken Blanchar once told me, “You can watch the parade, march in the parade, or lead the parade”.
We get one shot at life, take aim at the target you feel is best.
Typo, Ken Blanchard (yeah, the One Minute Manager & Who Moved My Cheese, etc)
I recently asked a high school freshman if he had any desire to be the drum major of his high school band. His response was that he preferred remaining with the band as a marching member. Even though the drum major is viewed as a leader, to him it is a puppet position controlled by invisible strings from directors and other higher-ups that work unseen by the public.
This is a kid who could be a good leader. He feels he can do his best work marching in the parade.
