“I have never been interested in personal gain or profit. This business and this studio have been my entire life.” Walt Disney
Here are several of the mission statements from Friday’s graduation ceremonies.
“I believe in a sovereign plan through which I have a distinct purpose, however unbeknown to me. As I’ve grown, though terribly uncertain of my plans for the future, I have found a passion in helping others.”
“I value responsibility, courage, and determination in life. I treasure my faith, my family, my friends and the abilities God has given me. It is my mission to influence the people around me in a positive manner by not only my words, but also by my actions.”
“My mission in life is to be used by God to accomplish His purposes, great or small. I want to use my passion for science and my passion for Christ to impact the science community. I hope that throughout my life I will be a servant in all situations and circumstances, and that people will see a sincere love for Christ and a love for people in me.”
North Cobb Christian School. Their mission statement:
Together . . .
Cultivating Hearts. Challenging Minds.
Impacting Culture.
This night was my first interaction with them. It probably will not be the last.

Stunningly beautiful. From the mouth of the future.
I’m literally crying right now because their words nurture my Hope and belief that brighter days are ahead, and that the courageous must lead the way, by following the ultimate leader.
David, thank you for sharing these important photographs to good souls, and great parents and teachers.
You’re welcome. These statements are not just from the students. They are the result of involved parents, teachers and friends helping to build a culture where service is part of their DNA just like having blonde hair or brown eyes.
Too bad this is a minority. I’ve never been a part of a more inspirational graduation ceremony. It started and ended with a prayer. Mixed in the middle was a mini-sermon addressing everyone in the audience, not just the graduates.
Heaven on Earth.
