The answer is simple.

Be a better follower.

Michael Hyatt (former CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers) suggested five characteristics of great followers:

  1. They are clear.
  2. They are obedient.
  3. They are servants.
  4. They are humble.
  5. They are loyal.

Followership comes before leadership. And we’re not just talking about the dictionary.
