Experiences.
We all have them. Some good, some not so good.
Experience is a great teacher. And recently, my family had a good one.
Some people go through their experiences without a second thought. Others look for the hidden agenda, skeptical of the motives of those running the show.
Me? I like to study and watch to see if I can learn why certain companies/businesses do what they do. Without looking up their company history, I make a judgement call about their culture based on my experience. It’s a fair assessment even though no company is immune to service blips from time to time.
Is that really fair you ask? Yep. “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.” An internet search attributes this to either Oscar Wilde or Will Rogers. Either way, it’s a great philosophy. If the first impression is worthy of your time/money/loyalty, then there usually is a second/third/infinite visit.
