Excellent question. As a parent I grapple with this everyday. Especially in the summer when my customers are home much of the time. Do I allow them to eat whatever they want ( True question: Mom can I have ice cream for breakfast?) Which might not be in their best interest health wise. Or do I lay out 3 healthy square meals a day. Setting great examples but with no room for their own growth. Truth be told, our home life is a mixture of both. (True answer said with a smile: Sure,) Crazy mommy.

I would strive for both if possible and let the customer choose. Is that too idealistic?
