As a leader, it’s up to you to set the tone of your organization.
And not to overuse musical terms, but is it upbeat or a downbeat?
Does it need a tune up?

Where do you feel safe?
Do you have a safe for your valuables? How about a safe room in the event of a storm? Do you live in an area where there are safe zones established for victims of domestic violence?
Does this make you afraid to leave your own house? I have friends who experience anxiety and do feel safer within the walls of their house. But that’s no way to live.
I have a friend struggling after a divorce. He’s several hundred miles away and I don’t feel like I can offer help.
The men and women above may have been afraid, but they left the confines of their safe place to serve a higher calling.
Go out and find your higher calling. Just be safe out there. 🙂

TweetWhen you walk in to your job/office/room/store, what do you notice first?
Do the clouds obscure your view or does the magnitude of the vista help you appreciate the space you occupy on the timeline of life?
TweetSaw a picture online once. It said something to the effect “Some people need a high-five . . . to the face . . . with a hammer.”
I’m not advocating violence. But some people need a reality check. And by that, I mean a dose of truth.
If you are asking a question of someone and you already know the answer they are going to give (knowing their honest answer will be truthful) and you still get upset at the answer, what does that say about you?
Truth doesn’t change or else it wouldn’t be true.
