Seriously?

Franklin Pierce (1804-1869)

You’re getting upset over misplacing your Anger Management book.

Or maybe you showed up late to your monthly Procrastinators Anonymous club meeting.

Whatever it is, maybe it’s too trivial to lose control over.

Focus on the important things. It is a good idea  to slow down a little, steady the course, and focus on the essentials when experiencing adverse conditions.

“Frequently the more trifling the subject, the more animated and protracted the discussion.”
Franklin Pierce, 14th President of the United States (1853-1857)

Our loss, heaven’s gain

We are better for knowing you.

Taking a break from the norm to pay tribute to a gentle man.

Always a kind word, always a gentle spirit.

Our loss, heaven’s gain. You will be missed Eli.

If pro is the opposite of con, is progress . . .

Millard Fillmore (1800-1874)

What needs to change?

You have the right people in place. They are positive, energetic, and they operate in a safe manner.

You’ve picked the right location for your business. Whether you are moving into a new neighborhood or revitalizing a rundown historic district, you’ve got something to offer that will make a huge impact in your community.

Now what? Do you have a process in place which combines all of this into one operation?

I know a company that does. I’m not employed by them, nor do I get a commission for recommending them. But if you have questions about what they do or how they do it, I’ll talk your ear off.

“It is not strange… to mistake change for progress.”
Millard Fillmore, 13th President of the United States (1850-1853)

Stay on target

Zachary Taylor (1784-1850)

You know where you going. You know how to get there.

Now all you have to do is execute the plan.

But there are so many distractions. You’ve even got a list. But along the way . . . . squirrel!

“I shall pursue a straight forward course deviating neither to the right or left so that comes what may I hope my real friends will never have to blush for me, so far as truth, honesty & fair dealings are concerned.”
Zachary Taylor, 12th President of the United States (1849-1850)

Hard work won’t kill you

James K. Polk (1795-1849)

Hard work is just that. It’s hard. As in not easy.

But there is no shortcut to doing it right.

The long way IS the shortcut.

Though I occupy a very high position, I am the hardest working man in the country.
James K. Polk, 11th President of the United States (1845-1849)
