Did you move?

Is it haunted? Doesn’t look like anyone lives there.

No. I didn’t move. Thank you for asking.

Someone commented that they kept checking in but they didn’t find anyone answering the door when they knocked.

I missed some time blogging on a regular basis. To my loyal followers, I apologize.

What if your business was only open every other day? Once a week? Your product/service would have to be totally amazing in order to have a loyal following.

Building consistency with your brand will also bring many rewards.

Don’t be the one to defeat yourself

They didn’t quit.

On the heels of yesterday’s post, today’s quote reminds us of a time when it may have been easy to quit.

“Never, never, never give up.” Winston Churchill

Other’s can’t quit for you. Only you can quit for yourself.

It’s just a word

The power of a word.

Thanks to my drum corps and Facebook friend Paul for sharing today’s thought.

“Why do you permit a mere word to stand in your way? Forget the word ‘difficult’ and take your next step.”  Vernon Howard

There comes a time when you are in training and then you become trained. It doesn’t mean the learning stops. It means the application begins.

Don’t let words like “difficult” stop you from moving forward.

Good job

Thanks . . . from all of us.

If you have to file a workers’ comp claim because you’ve received too many pats on the back for a job well done . . . . well . . . .

Good for you!

And if you are a boss, manager, supervisor, etc., and your employees aren’t sore, trust me when I say that a well-timed “good job!” can make all the difference in the world to your team member.

It will cost you nothing. But it means the world to the person receiving it.

Reacting too quickly?

Watch the fireworks. Don’t become one. (Picture courtesy of Emily Balentine)

Quick. Someone has done you wrong. It could be to your business, your family, friends or directly at you. It’s horrible, maybe even bordering on tragic.

What do you do about it?

Wise advice given to a family member under such circumstances . . .

“Take your finger off the trigger, but stand your ground.”
